Used Car Operations

The principal difference is that we make our own trade-in prices within 15 minutes. You will get an offer faster than anywhere else because we don’t allow the Used Car Trade to set our price platform. We price to do business.

But this is just the first leg of the Used Car Value chain. We choose and buy only the “choice cars” for resale and everything else goes to our trade centre for auction.

Reconditioning is done by a separate dedicated team and is governed by the maxim of presenting each Used Car for sale in a better condition than its age would suggest.

Customer support is immediate and should any problem arise, the same team that reconditioned the car will repair it. No queues and no fuss.

This presents an extremely powerful reason to purchase any Used Vehicle from a Tavcor Group Dealership.

Service Operations

By the end of 2012 Tavcor Group will have 70 active work bays, fully equipped and backed up by specialist tyre and wheel alignment centres. 70 Technical staff – 3 full time support and assist vehicles on the road and a dedication to customer support.

GREAT CARS, GREAT PEOPLE positioning statement came into being in 2003 and remains the stance of the organisation and is a daily reminder for all Tavcor people to live up to our best expectations.

Social Responsibility and Alignment

A group rating of B.B.B.E.E. 6 has been attained through careful application of key black empowerment and development decisions. Siyoyisa Pty Ltd is a start-up company that handles car wash and valet services for the Group. Within a year this organisation will employ close to 50 people with a key role in serving the Tavcor Motor Group.

iKhaya Cheshire and Miracle Kids are our chosen Social responsibility beneficiaries but it’s so much more than an obligation. Tavcor staff contributes to school class room building and monthly markets are held to fill the coffers of our special needs fund.

Training and development is a cornerstone activity led by Group Human Resource Manager that oversees a full apprentice technician program as well as a Sales Kadet program and a 1st time job creation plan for disabled people. The company has its own bespoke sales process plan and training system.
