Tavcor Motor Group needs your help, and Ubuntu Pathways’ Jacob Lief tells us why.
The COVID-19 crisis has impacted us all. However, there are so many children and families living in the townships that are extremely vulnerable, hungry and scared. Many of you know Tavcor has a partnership with an incredible organization called Ubuntu Pathways (www.ubuntupathways.org). Ubuntu has worked for over 20 years to take orphans and vulnerable children in Port Elizabeth from cradle to career through a comprehensive model of education, clinical and psychosocial services. They are having an incredible impact on thousands of lives.
Right now, they need our help more than ever. Our community is starving. Most breadwinners in the townships have lost their jobs, and families are losing their ability to put food on the table. Ubuntu has just launched a massive food distribution program and delivered food to 700 vulnerable households today. But as you can imagine this is a huge undertaking and now they need all the support they can get from the local community.
Will you join us in making a difference at this critical time?
Donations can be made by contacting us and we’ll put you in contact with Ubuntu leadership or by directly contacting Ubuntu’s CFO, Kobus Froneman (kobus@ubuntupathways.org).
Thank you for your consideration.
