As many of you know, I hardly ever post on social media – but after our TAVCOR Annual Awards in Feb 2026, I felt compelled to share this moment.
This is Henry, our TMG Top Sales Executive, who in 2025 survived being shot in a horrific hijacking in Gqeberha. His story is nothing short of miraculous and a testament to an incredibly strong man. Just days after being in hospital, he was back at work with his trademark charisma and unwavering commitment to serving his customers.
But this image is about more than celebrating one remarkable individual. In a single frame, it captures the energy of these evenings and brings our brand promise – “Great Cars. Great People.” – to life. In an age of AI, digital noise and growing personal distance, TAVCOR remains deeply connected to our people and our customers.
Awards evenings can be controversial. Not everyone is recognised, and, in many organisations, that can breed resentment. Yet on this night, what we witnessed was something different: euphoric, genuine support as colleagues rose to their feet to celebrate the success of their teammates. The energy was infectious, and there were tears – the good kind – as stories of resilience, service and excellence were honoured.
This is TAVCOR. So much more than just cars.
